Title: Contracts Administrator
Summary: The Contracts Administrator is responsible for managing the procurement process for goods and services, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with regulations and corporate policies. The individual will work closely with internal stakeholders to: (1) understand their needs and develop contracts and/or subcontracts that meet their requirements, and (2) understand the operational construct and develop technical, price, and business management proposals in support of both commercial and federal buyers.
Responsibilities:

Manage the procurement process for goods and services, including preparing requests for proposals, evaluating bids, and negotiating contracts

Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies, including reviewing contracts for legal and regulatory risks

Negotiate contracts and subcontracts with vendors and suppliers

Administer contracts and monitor performance to ensure compliance with terms and conditions

Maintain records and documentation related to contracts and procurement processes

Development and implementation of organization-wide procurement policies and procedures

Prepare and administer routine correspondence, negotiation memoranda, and subcontract documentation to ensure timely and coordinated submittal

Prepare, organize, and maintain contract records and files contractual performance and compliance

Review and analyze contracting actions for identification of discrepancies, risks, and concerns

Review complex solicitations and prepares specialized and/or non-routine response for proposals, bids, and contract modifications

Analyze significant, and/or unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and corporate policies and business unit procedure

Demonstrate a sound understanding of business agreements, i.e., teaming agreements, proprietary information agreements, etc., along with understanding of management, organization, planning and controls

Perform commonly used contracting methods and contract types related to pre-award, post-award and/or price/cost analysis functions

Recognize contractual issues in program performance, implement solutions, carry to completion, while exercising good judgment with minimal supervision

Lead contract and subcontract negotiations

Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field

Experience working in both U.S. government and private sector procurement capacities
-
7+ years of experience in contract management or procurement
-
Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail
-
Proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite of products (specific emphasis on Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Knowledge of procurement regulations and policies including but not limited to: Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), agency-specific supplemental regulations, etc.
